Thenga

Thenga

Thenga was established on 29th August 2019, with an aim to be a social enterprise that manufacture and sell eco friendly products . The name ‘Thenga’ means coconut in Malayalam, since coconuts were plenty in Kerala we wanted to promote coconut related products. Usually coconut water, flesh etc. are utilized to make oil, coconut milk that is considered valuable in the market. Coconut shells are used for burning, or thrown away, thus reducing its value. We wanted to change this scenario and started manufacturing coconut bowls. We now focus on coconut shell related products, like bowls, coconut cutlery, coconut planter etc and a few other eco friendly products.
