The critically endangered Himalayan Brown Bear lives in the western Himalayas across the Indian states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Only an estimated 500 - 750 bears are remaining in India. Their rapidly declining population can be attributed to habitat destruction resulting from plastic pollution and encroachment.
We have partnered with Healing Himalayas to save the Himalayan brown bear and fight plastic pollution in the Himalayas. 5% of the proceeds from each Healing Himalayas Hamper goes to the organization for saving these remarkable mountain dwelling bears.
