I, Devika Bhalla, am the founder of Hohmgrain. I quit my job last year during the lockdown and started working on some decor concepts in wood. The lockdown gave me a lot of time to think on how to convert my passion for wood into a meaningful business, catering to the needs of customers in India. It started with introducing the concept of wooden planters and raised garden beds using sustainable wood species. These planters are meant to hold the soil and grow plants in a more eco-conscious way.

We use a 3 ply cardboard box with brown paper fillers to pack the product. We use jute threads to tie the notes — instructions to use and care notes, in handmade paper. Furthermore, we use highly sustainable and eco-friendly packaging because we want to maintain the zero plastic characteristic of our brand from inception till the packaging end.
